Superior Sun Protection
At Elasam, we believe that the best protection against the harsh Australian sun is a physical barrier such as UPF50 fabric.
As a Mum of 3, I noticed (particularly on my girls) that the skin covered by swimwear was always lighter than the skin that wasn't, even when they hadn't been burned. I wanted some cute swim shorts for my girls but there was nothing out there, so I developed my products as a way to protect their skin on those long days at the beach.
Elasam swimwear will help to cover your kids in the following ways:
- Our rashies have thumbholes so that the backs of the hands (an area often forgetten) is covered all day. If your child doesn't like this, no worries you can just wear like a normal rashie.
- Higher neckline so no need to apply sunscreen on the front of the neck.
- Longer torso so no more accidental burning on the small of the back.
- Longer shorts to protect more of their legs (especially in our 3/4 length swim shorts).
